Proximity2Humanity exists to strengthen communities—wherever they are—by connecting local leadership with the people, resources, and partnerships needed to create lasting change.

Whether in the United States or abroad, it’s about solidarity, not charity. By directing funds to community-led initiatives, we provide assistance and facilitate social change while making communities stronger.

We are also trying to change the humanitarian sector, recognizing that global funding cuts mean we have to do more with less. We are proving that donors can support local groups more directly, with less overhead, in a way that allows communities to allocate funding according to their own priorities and processes.
